The exhibition 'Le trame di Raffaello' offers a fascinating journey through the materials and techniques that characterize an ancient tapestry. The tapestry depicts one of the most famous paintings by Raphael: “La Madonna Del Divino Amore ”. A complex theme that leads us to the contemporary translation of the yarn. We produce the letter R through a dense texture while referring to the glitched current imagery, creating a digital textile scan. We create a monogram and we replicate it studying the tapestry closely, reproducing the most hidden details and trying to give value to a precious and forgotten practice such as weaving, bringing the general public closer to the theme of the craftsman.
